Certified Change Management Professional

The CCMP is a worldwide recognized certification issued by the ACMP to help professionals demonstrate their commitment to influencing changes in the way they work. It was designed per ACMP's world-leading Standard for Change Management (Standard) which defines the best methods for managing change. The CCMP is a means professionals can demonstrate that they invest in their continued improvement and can successfully utilize their knowledge to address a variety of changing management scenarios.

However, unlike other certifications in change management specific requirements must be met to obtain the CCMP.

Eligibility

The requirements for eligibility to be eligible for Change Management certification can vary dependent on the certification program you select. However, all certification programs have common requirements. Here are the common conditions for eligibility:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Most certifications require the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from related fields like psychology, business, management and information technology.
  • Equivalent Experience: Certain programs might accept an equivalent professional experience instead of formal training.

Professional Experience:

  • The most relevant experience: typically 2-3 years' work experience within project management, change management organization development, management or in a similar field is essential.
